Positive: Château de Villette is a magnificent stately home set on a hill with wonderful views of the surrounding fields and forest. I visited in autumn, when the light and colours of the trees and gardens were simply beautiful. The room was very large and elegantly decorated in a classic, old-fashioned style, with modern comforts thoughtfully integrated into the historic setting. The host received us warmly, even though it was the end of the season. Breakfast was superb, served in a splendid dining room full of character and charm. A truly memorable stay in a timeless atmosphere.

Negative: Given its location, the access route is not entirely straightforward, but we managed to get there in the evening without any problem.

Summary: A delightful and peaceful stay in a truly unique and elegant setting.
