Positive: The staff was friendly. Bed was very comfortable.

Negative: Where do I begin... This hotel has really gone downhill since it's purchase by Marriott. Check-in counter was understaffed at 4:30pm - only one person with a line of people waiting. Room hadn't been cleaned well. Coffee machine still had a pod inside from previous guest and there was a thorn on the rug that I stepped on. Bathroom door squeaked loudly disturbing my roomate when I needed to use during the night. Mini-fridge was oddly located standing on the floor instead of in a cabinet. Food in the restaurant generally was not very good. Prime rib was nearly raw when it was ordered medium rare. Crab Louis salad was arranged with components separate, requiring the guest to basically make their own salad. Bread pudding french toast for breakfast was burnt and sausage gravy was oddly dark colored and overly salty. Croisant was awful - buying some from Costco would have been a huge improvement. Obviously corporate profits are the priority over guest experience. It's a shame - when run by the Worthy family it was absolutely top notch.

Summary: Disappointing compared to stays when owned by previous owners.
