Welcome to our family-friendly home, our "Urban Sanctuary"! Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, this space offers privacy on a nearly 10,000 square feet lot. I, your host, reside here part-time with my toddler daughter, inspiring a space that warmly welcomes infants and provides baby amenities. Families with older children will find creative activities too. Don't have kids? No worries – everyone is equally welcome!
I've recently made the decision to step away from professional hosting companies, seeking a more personalized approach to hospitality. We greet every guest personally at the beginning of their stay, and wave them goodbye when they leave. I trust that my guests will embrace this shift, understanding that I may not be a seasoned professional. I'm dedicated to ensuring my guests are met with comfort, convenience, and a touch of family warmth during their stay.
The Urban Sanctuary was recently remodeled (2020-2022) and features a half open floorplan, walnut countertops, marble backsplashes and Brazilian hardwood floors.
The rooms:
There are three differently themed bedrooms, al of which feature a double bed. The living room has a sectional that converts into two twin beds. A big bonus is the coat closet next to the front door - so you don't need to bring your dusty or wet coats into your bedroom. There is also a flat screen TV and our lazy-mornings breakfast bar.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a range, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and cooking and dinner ware. The utility room adjacent to the kitchen has a washer and dryer that you are welcome to use.
Love a good shower? Then you will like my bathroom with its 16-inch rain shower head in addition to several massage heads. Feel the pebble floor under your feet - just like you were on the beach!
Outside:There is space for 3 cars in the driveway. Chill out on the patio deck in the backyard and feel free to snack on berries, grapes, and fruit from the trees. Coming home from mountain biking in Oakridge or skiing at Willamette Pass? You can lock up your bike, skis and other gear in the shed in the backyard.
Children: Older children will find books, paper for drawing or crafting, and a giant chalk-board wall. Our baby aminities include a baby/toddler safety kit, pack'n'play, newborn co-sleeper, baby bathtub, high-chair, breastfeeding pillow, bottle drying rack and a Brezza formula maker. (We have more baby stuff - just ask if you need something!)
