Welcome to our charming, historic craftsman home built in 1928, originally located next to Hayward Field where sporting events could be viewed at the time from the back porch, before it was relocated to its current site atop a modern daylight basement. It is now a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home (2,256 sq ft) located in a culdesac of the quiet Laurel Hill Valley neighborhood next to the University of Oregon campus. You will enjoy views of Coburg Hills and the surrounding valley from the living room and of Moon Mountain from the backyard deck and gazebo.
Our home is located about 1.5 miles from Hayward Field and the center of the University of Oregon campus, a little less than 2.5 miles of walking paths/trails to the South entrance of Autzen Stadium, and just over 2.5 miles to Kesey Square and the geographical center of the City of Eugene (and a number of wonderful downtown eating establishments). For the outdoor enthusiasts, our home is tucked in Oregon's Willamette Valley just a mile's walk to the paved river walking/cycling paths along the Willametter Rive and only a little over an hour from the coast to the West and the mountain passes, waterfalls and lakes of the Cascades to the East.
From its elevated position above neighboring rooftops, the living room has panoramic views through its abundant, original craftsman windows and is equipped with a 55" smart TV, ample seating, a ductless AC/heat unit, and a ceiling fan. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, stove top, microwave, full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and Keurig coffee maker station, as well as cooking and eating utensils and even coffee pods and cooking spices.
The primary bedroom suite is a recently remodeled addition downstairs with a queen bed, 50" smart TV, a ductless AC/heat unit, and a stunning in suite bathroom with a 2-person shower supplied with shampoo and body wash, heated bidet toilet, heated towel rack and heated floor. Just outside the primary bedroom is an entertainment room with a 55" smart TV, DVD player with DVD library, Playstation 3 system with its own games library, plenty of sectional sofa seating, and a kitchentte with refrigerator, microwave and Nescafe coffee maker station (with its own supply of coffee pods). The washer and dryer are stacked in their own soundproofed closet next to the kitchenette and off the downstairs entertainment room.
On the main floor, the second bedroom comes with a queen bed, a ductless AC/heat unit, a ceiling fan and 2 windows overlooking an open field and the back yard. The third bedroom has a queen bed, ceramic tower space heater, ceiling fan, and 2 windows also overlooking an open field and back yard. The shared bathroom on the main floor has a full size bathroom with tub/shower and one sink, and is supplied with shampoo and body wash.
In the attic space, there is a fourth bedroom with a full-sized bed and a ductless AC/heat unit, as well as a reading nook, office area and TV sitting area with its own smart TV.
The back yard has elevated composite decking and a Gazebo cover over the main deck with its own outdoor sectional seating and dining area, shade/privacy curtains and a smart TV. There is also a propane gas grill available for your use.
Minimum age is 25 years old. No parties or events. No smoking or vaping on the property, inside or outside. A ring doorbell is located on the front door.
