Summary: Northrup Station is a sort of funky hotel in a great location--Northwest Portland, near the many shops, restaurants and other attractions of NW 21st and 23rd Avenues. And, as the name indicates, it is at the 21st avenue stop of the Portland light rail system, which is very convenient for getting around inner Portland. The rooms were very spacious and well appointed with comfortable chairs and a couch. A very nice breakfast is included but the coffee offered is NOT good. The hotel wears its funkiness and alternative nature proudly, but it is a bit run down, although very clear and well maintained. Free parking is another perk.
