Positive: Beautiful location, more remote than I had realized when booking but this ended up adding to the experience! So peaceful, so spacious, beautiful! The hosts were very welcoming and flexible about our arrival time and immediately offered bikes to our kids on arrival and showed us the chickens, the stream, the boats and their big beautiful garden. The hosts put 2 lifesized stuffed animals (tigers) on the kids beds and they still refer to our stay now as "the place with the giant tigers"; they loved it! Our dog adored being able to run so much in the huge garden after hours in the car. The house was really well equpped, we cooked up a great meal as we had stopped in a supermarket along the way (best to do this as nowhere nearby to shop or eat). We had a lovely stay, thank you so much!

Negative: Not having towels is strange to me but we had been told this in advance and it seemed to be the norm in similar properties throughout France.

Summary: Beautiful, comfortable and peaceful!
