Positive: We stayed in November in this lovely self-contained accommodation in a wing of the large manor house. The living area was huge with a wood-burning stove which was perfect for our stay in the colder months. Our host could not have been more helpful and went to great lengths to ensure that we were comfortable when we had booked at very short notice. Breakfast was excellent with a large variety of cereals, baked items and fruit, and the home-made compotes were delicious, all served in the fabulous atmospheric dining room.

Negative: We just felt very lucky that we had found this wonderful place.

Summary: Quiet, idyllic manor house set in its own lovely grounds with top-class accommodation.
