Welcome to the cool historic neighborhood of Huntridge in downtown Las Vegas. Besides being a 6 minute drive to the strip, the villa is centrally located to excellent eats and culture that is the Vegas Art District (look at my guidebook for recommendations!); An abundance of grocery stores, great attractions and museums are all within a 10-15 minute radius.
For nature lovers, Las Vegas is surrounded by great hikes and ecological wonders. The Valley of Fire and Mt Charleston Wilderness Reserve are both under 1 hour away. Calico Basin Red Rock Canyon is 30 mins away.
For our nurse friends, there are 5 hospital within a 4 mile radius to the house.
The Huntridge neighborhood is considered safe. The city of Las Vegas however is an urban city and we have an active downtown. Huntridge is close to downtown and as central access to public transit, so many great attractions and excellent restaurants. Which means that due to it's location the house is not without it's noise- there may be construction, lawn mowers and people chatting outside. The house is also centrally located to many communities with people in different walks of life. This is not something you should fear but be made aware as you plan to explore and stay in the city.
