Summary: The house was just fine. It was pretty much what you see (except the ice and water on the fridge doesn't work). We were happy with the place. I gave only 2 stars because they forgot we were coming. The place wasn't ready for us. We arrived in town at 4:30pm, but decided we'd do some fun things and head to the rental house around 6:30pm. At 6:30pm I realized the e-mail that from Vrbo that says "we have the keys to your rental" showed the host didn't put check in directions. Long story short, it wasn't cleaned yet either. They said it could be ready at 8pm. Victoria talked at length with my husband and agreed to take the cleaning fee and the service fee. This was an overall discount of 30%. We thought that was fair since we didn't get one evening in the home. Its also a challenge for our group of three adults and four children to eat out due to two people having celiac and one having another medical condition requiring a special diet. She also said we could have two extra hours beyond check out, but since we needed to fly out of Orlando the next day we didn't need that. Long story short, Victoria didn't deliver with the discount and ghosted us. After several unreturned calls and messages, I threatened to leave a poor review and her mom replied saying Victoria never ran the discount past her (the team), and she will give us a little back (comes out to .5% over all price), but that's all. Having the place available during the time you are renting the home is just as important as presentation and cleanliness. Placating disappointed people with empty promises does not help the situation. If we'd gotten the discount promised, I'd probably would have left four stars. The rental itself was a four out of five.
