Summary: Beautiful property in a lovely location. House was perfect for our needs, including a lovely heated pool. Property was located opposite a train track and there were frequent passenger and freight trains throughout the day but you soon get used to it. The local area had shops a short drive away and good location for visiting attractions. I liked it was just a short drive to get onto the motorway, but far enough that you didn't hear traffic. The house is located in an area where there is only one way in and out of the village, so no through traffic. Bedrooms were pleasent but more clothes storage would have been helpful. Overall they were fine though.Kitchen had all the conveniences, including an air fryer, oven, microwave, hob, dishwasher and decent sized fridge freezer. Washing machine and dryer were located in a small outhouse.Outdoor areas were lovely. A deck area to the rear, overlooking the river, and a court yard to the front. A few steps away was the lovely heated pool. Not hot, but warm enough you could jump right in. Nice pool deck for sunbathing. Chicken and two sheep on site. We enjoyed visiting them to say hello. I would definitely stay here again, the host was very helpful and communication was fantastic. Would recommend.
