Set in the countryside, with views over beautiful Tuscan hills, Villa Fragolina is part of a large wine estate, part of the same family for generations. It has been recently restored with a mix of traditional and modern touches. The nearest villa is not far from the Tuscan coast, in an area referred to as the Pisan Hills. The surrounding countryside is rich in vineyards and olive trees. The nearest hamlet features a small grocery store, a fruit and vegetable shop, a coffee bar, a restaurant, a butcher shop, and a pharmacy. At a short drive away we find the pretty village of Peccioli offering a wider range of facilities.
The villa develops on two floors.
On the ground level we find a large air conditioned living area with comfortable sofas, TV and library; a well equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle), two dining areas, a bathroom with shower and a sitting/reading area.
Stairs from the ground floor take us to the first floor where we find one air conditioned double bedroom with ceiling fans, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, bathtub, and a separate sitting room. This bedroom has stairs to the exterior; one double bedroom with air conditioning, ceiling fan and a separate bathroom with walk-in shower, bathtub, bidet and double sink; one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and built in wardrobe; one twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and built in wardrobe in the corridor.
Outside the property offers a small lemon-house leading from the kitchen to an external dining area with built-in barbecue. There is a private swimming pool (10 x 5m; 1.2 – 1.5m deep) with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Nearby, a gazebo providing some welcomed shade with table and chairs, is the perfect place for al fresco dining. For the younger members of the party, there is a swing and wooden play house.
