Enjoy a relaxing stay in our Quanset Hut Home that we proudly converted into an artistic and comfortable living space in 2020! Nestled inside this 1,840 sq/ft metal domed "cave", is a modern studio apartment; designed with locally harvested douglas fir from our property and full of comforts and charm.
The open floor plan and design offers all the amenities needed including full bathroom (soaking-tub), kitchen, dining area, living room (entertainment center), office, 2 bedrooms, infrared sauna, and a large open gaming area. Step out through the back slider door into a quaint private garden patio that is fully fenced and offers propane BBQ Grill, outside eating area, and even outside hot shower.
WiFi Internet throughout and every room is equipped with mounted smart televisions. We love sitting outside and watching the diversity of birds and animals which are abundant here. Excellent location...only 20 miles to the Oregon Caves, minutes from two wineries (Foris & Bridgeview Vineyards), 45 minutes to large redwood forests as the base of the Smith River, and only 8 minutes for shopping in town. Without a doubt, the greatest feature, is the quality of water that comes from the land...enjoy quenching drinking water from every tap.
Please note that the unit being rented is located at the center of the property, just passed the front house...upon entering, simply take drive way to the LEFT (Large enough for campers) around to the back where you will see our Modern Yeti Home.
