Positive: The location was good but the proximity to the supermarket was noisy in the early morning with deliveries etc. The pool was nice.

Negative: Do not book this if you are basing it on the photos and think it looks fairly luxurious. It is not. It needs complete renovation. The stairs are frankly dangerous especially as children will potentially have wet feet from the pool. The sofas are broken, bloodstained and disgusting. The outside furniture is broken and unusable. There are holes in walls. The bathroom clearly leaks into the bedroom next door and the floor is damp and damaged. The nice tiled wall in the photos by the table no longer exists and is just ply wood. The list is endless.

Summary: Troyes is a gorgeous town and the lakes are worth a visit but I wouldn’t recommend staying in this property.
